Austenitic coils are the most widely used, containing high chromium and nickel with low carbon content. They are non-magnetic, highly corrosion resistant, and known for their toughness and formability. These coils can withstand both high and cryogenic temperatures, making them versatile. They are extensively applied in food processing, chemical industries, pipelines, and modern architecture.
Ferritic coils are composed of moderate chromium with little or no nickel, making them more economical and magnetic. They provide good resistance to oxidation, stress corrosion cracking, and fatigue, along with better heat conductivity than austenitic types. Though less ductile, they are reliable in moderately corrosive environments. These coils are commonly used in automotive exhaust systems, appliances, and interior building materials.
Martensitic coils have higher carbon and chromium content, which enhances their hardness and strength after heat treatment. They are magnetic and highly resistant to wear, though their corrosion resistance is lower compared to other stainless steels. With excellent mechanical strength, they are suitable for high-wear applications. Typical uses include blades, turbine components, surgical tools, cutlery, and valves.
Duplex coils combine the best properties of both austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, delivering high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. Their dual-phase structure resists stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and chloride attack, making them ideal for harsh conditions. They also provide nearly double the strength of austenitic steels with good weldability. These coils are widely used in marine, offshore, chemical, and desalination industries.
Used in cladding, roofing strips, wall panels, and architectural accents for strength and modern aesthetics.
Applied in exhaust trims, body panels, fuel tanks, and structural components where corrosion resistance is essential.
Ideal for hygienic storage containers, kitchen equipment, and food processing machinery.
Suitable for heat exchangers, reactors, tanks, and pipelines due to resistance to harsh chemicals.
Preferred for cleanroom surfaces, sterile equipment, and hygienic housings in medical environments.
Used in turbine strips, solar panel frames, and power plant components.
Common in refrigerator trims, washing machines, and kitchen units for durability and sleek finishes.
Excellent for ship structures, docks, and offshore rigs as they withstand seawater corrosion.
Decorative panels, modular furniture, and partitions for contemporary interior solutions.
Used in coaches, containers, and protective covers for reliable transport infrastructure.
